Selenium 2.0 released

Last week version 2.0 of the web testing tool Selenium was released. Read the full announcement here. From my point of view, the interesting facts about this release are:

  • Selenium 2.0 is a drop-in replacement
  • WebDriver APIs for Java, .Net, Python and Ruby are included
  • Selenium integrates into the browsers to trigger events on a native level
  • A new version of Selenium IDE to support all the new features will follow in short
