Last week version 2.0 of the web testing tool Selenium was released. Read the full announcement here. From my point of view, the interesting facts about this release are:
- Selenium 2.0 is a drop-in replacement
- WebDriver APIs for Java, .Net, Python and Ruby are included
- Selenium integrates into the browsers to trigger events on a native level
- A new version of Selenium IDE to support all the new features will follow in short
