GWT 2.3 released

Google Web Toolkit 2.3 has been released.

The main new features are improved IE9 support, local storage API and a cloud connected Eclipse Google Plugin with access to Google APIs.

Another very interesting new feature is the new GWT RPC XSRF protection:

Cross-Site Request Forgery (XSRF or CSRF) is a type of web attack where an attacker can perform actions on behalf of an authenticated user without user’s knowledge.
